History

The very first Fiesta was held in November, 1948 when former Pastor, Fr. Leland Higgins, asked Patti Ruth Linbeck to chair a fundraising event to help defray the costs of the new school cafeteria and junior high wing (which opened in 1945).  This historic event brought church and school families together for a fun-filled day of games, food and music and about 3,000 turkey dinners were prepared in the new cafeteria.  The first Fiesta raised $3,000 for the St. Anne Catholic Community .
